Firewood baskets in two different models. A genuine craft from Mora, where the tradition of basket making goes back to the 18th century.
Model with open sides -
Size bottom about 35 x 30 cm, height 50 cm.
Model with ends that keep your firewood in place in the basket -
Size 43x36 cm, height with handle 43 cm.
Add, for example, a piece of paper or similar inside the basket to further reduce the risk of debris from the firewood falling out onto the floor.

Baskets, braided by hand-split pine shavings. It is a further development of the sieve and sweep baskets of hand-split chips that have been manufactured in older times. The baskets are still manufactured in the same traditional way today with hand-cleaved and filed chips or “spjåkar” as they are called in Swedish.
